Kantar Public has appointed current WPP exec Kathryn Cooper in the new role of Global Head of Behavioural and Communications Advisory. Cooper works currently as Executive Director of WPP’s Government and Public Sector Practice and leads WPP’s growth in government work in the US market.
Kathryn Cooper brings 25 years of experience in international marketing and agency work. She worked in integrated marketing roles in financial services, FMCG and retail before joining the WPP Government and Public Sector Practice in 2015 as founding Executive Director in ANZ; then in 2019 relocated to the US and refined WPP’s approach to public sector business development in the region.
In her new, US-based role, Cooper joins the group’s global Board and will lead an international team of established communications and behavioural specialists. She reports to Kantar Public CEO Dr Michelle Harrison, the original leader of the WPP unit Cooper is joining from.
